Below is a list of restrictions and limitations that apply to garage sales in the Penrith Council area. What you can see is pretty much a copy and paste of the information that was provided to me by the Penrith Council. I suggest you use this information as a rough guide only and double check to be sure.
Penrith City Council allows residents to conduct garage sales to at any time providing the items do not encroach onto public land (footpath or nature strip areas). Any signs placed on public structures are to be removed after the garage sales are finished. Council Rangers provide letters to residents who do not remove signs. There is no limit to the number of garage sales allowed or the type of items allowed for sale at this time.
